DIAPER BAG ESSENTIALS!

This post was sponsored by Honey Made but all opinions are 100% my own.

I have used the skip-hop diaper bag since Landon turned 1. I used to be such an over packer, I could never get down how to pack the diaper bag or couldn’t get things situated right. And I for one am not one to pack a bag every time I want to leave the house I just want to grab the bag and go. So I am going to share my diaper bag essentials and how I pack them.

Pin this to save for later

In the front two open pockets, I keep 2 diapers for Avery and 2 Pull-ups for Landon. If I know we are going to be gone longer than like 3 hours I will grab extras on the way out the door.  In the front Zipper pocket, I keep a bib and extra socks for both Landon & Avery and a pack of wipes.

In the side pockets sits the bottle and sippy cup I got from Walmart. In the back big pocket, I keep a changing matt, That honestly, (NEVER GETS USED) But I keep it there just in case.

In the big middle pocket, I keep extra outfits in a ziplock bag. A sealed bottle of water. A couple small toys. And 4 or 5 snacks sized bags of Post Oreo O’s .

My kids love them and they have come in handy more times than to count. Every time I go to Walmart I pick up another box.

Along with a wet bag because who knows when you will need somewhere to put poopy clothes.

In the hidden zipper pocket on the top, I keep hand sanitizer, a small hand lotion, some chapstick, and some scented plastic bags for dirty diapers.

I have learned through trial and error on what to pack and what not to pack. This method I’ve been using has never left me stranded on not having something I need and has kept me from wasting time packing a bag for the babies when trying to get out the house.

I almost can’t believe that with my first we did NOT even have a diaper bag! I think that is partially because as a city mama we would throw our stuff into the stroller basket and walk on. Now with three, we have LOVED our Skip Hop diaper change bag. It goes everywhere.

This is a great post! I babysit my cousins’ kids a lot, and one of them had a fully stocked diaper bag so I felt prepared for anything, but the other didn’t and it made all the difference!

Hahaha. Oh woman, I’m the same way. Except I actually think you’re much better at it then me. I always have packed like 5 diapers that I never need, 3 or so outfits I never use, food, a spoon in a baggy blankets. Like 5 toys Etc. Always have it ready to go. Always over prepared. Only have one infant. But the day s*** does go down you bet I’ve been waiting for it! ?

A good diaper bag is essential! And one of my fave products I used was a Prince Lionheart bottle warmer when the kids were newborns. It was a life saver on many occasions.

You have to have snacks! In a pinch, as long as you have diapers, wipes, and snacks, you really don’t need anything else lol

My years of using a diaper bag are long gone but these are some terrific tips for moms of toddlers.
