Eyeliner was a mystery to me for a long time. I had serious eyeliner envy! when I got my guts together to try winger eyeliner it was a disaster! And it was a lot of trial and error! I couldn’t quite grasp the concept of a steady enough hand to make it straight and sharp. I set out on a mission to get the perfect eyeliner!
To start my journey I started with a different type of eyeliner. I went from a Pencil to a felt tip pen. It helps because the tip is firm and you get the look of liquid eyeliner.
When I first started winged eyeliner I used tape as a stencil. I still do sometimes. But for the most part I just do it free handed now.
I take my eyeliner pen and line the end up with my nose and place the tip on to the skin. This will give you your first line.
My next step is to rotate the end of my pin a 25 degree angle and draw a line towards my lash line.
Then I finish off my eyes by lining the rest of the lid.
And I then go back in and fill in the lines. And that completes the look!
